Job summary

DP World Medan seeks a Head of Finance to lead finance, accounting, procurement and insurance, guiding strategic partnerships with regulators and banks. You will drive monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting, tax compliance and internal controls, while coaching a Finance team and partnering with operations to improve profitability and working capital.

Strong English communication is essential. Role requires 10+ years in finance, with 5+ years leading a multinational finance function;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience, including at least 5 years leading a finance function or department at multi-national companies.
• Proven knowledge of financial reporting standards and applicable local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in accounts finalisation, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, audit and finance team supervision.
• Commercial and business partnering capability, with experience developing financial models and translating analysis into practical decisions.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and develop a small team.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
• Sound judgement, analytical thinking and project-management capability, with the ability to prioritise and meet timelines.
• Driven, hands-on and detail-oriented, with a strong continuous-improvement mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Oracle Fusion would be an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations and reporting.
• Manage procurement, insurance and supply chain governance.
• Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls.
• Provide leadership to the finance team and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate statutory, board and external reporting.
