Eezee is a fast-growing Singaporean company in the B2B space, building technology and operations that power procurement and trade across Southeast Asia. The Finance Assistant Manager oversees and governs our day-to-day finance operations, and holds accountability for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the work the finance team produces.
You review, check, and approve outputs at every stage of the Record-to-Report cycle, so financial integrity holds from transaction level through to reporting. This is a supervisory role for someone who leads through oversight, builds team capability, and is ready to grow into a full Finance Manager. It is based in Batam, Indonesia (on-site).
You will work closely with internal teams across Business Development, Category Management, Inside Sales, Sourcing, Operations Management, and Management, and report directly to the Finance Manager / CFO.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the team's execution of financial operations across accounts payable and accounts receivable, and review and approve invoices, payments, and collection activities
- Maintain the Record-to-Report (RTR) cycle, ensuring every financial transaction is accurately captured, classified, and reconciled to protect the integrity of the company's financial statements
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls
- Prepare, analyse, and present timely and accurate financial reports and statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies
- Coordinate with the HR department on payroll processing, in compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies
- Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other stakeholders
- Supervise, guide, and develop junior finance team members
- Assist the Finance Manager with strategic financial projects and ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Solid experience across the full Record-to-Report cycle, from transaction processing through to financial statements
- Prior supervisory or review experience: you have checked and approved other people's work, not only produced your own
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with internal teams and with auditors, tax agents, and banks
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
- Ready to grow into a full Finance Manager role
