Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to partner across Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Logistics, delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis to support business objectives.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with strong Excel and ERP experience for effective decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting or business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience using ERP and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement min.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly financial reports and performance analysis.
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitoring business performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analysing revenue, costs, margins and operational performance.
• Providing financial support to project and operational teams.
• Developing financial models, business cases and investment analyses.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
• Identifying cost-saving and business improvement opportunities.
• Developing management reports and financial dashboards.
• Supporting tax planning, tax payments and related activities.
