Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a Finance professional to partner with operations, engineering, sales and logistics to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis that supports business objectives.

You will report to the Finance Manager and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis while leveraging ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling. This role requires onsite work five days a week and does not offer visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting, commercial finance or business partnering.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience using ERP and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement min.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly financial reports and performance analysis.
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitoring business performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Analysing revenue, costs, margins and operational performance.
• Providing financial support to project and operational teams.
• Developing financial models, business cases and investment analyses.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close activities.
• Identifying cost-saving and business improvement opportunities.
• Assisting with audit, governance and compliance requirements.
• Developing management reports and financial dashboards.
• Supporting tax planning, tax payments and related activities.
