Job summary

OMG Brands in Central Jakarta seeks a Finance, Accounting, Tax Staff member to join our finance team on a contract basis. You will maintain robust financial records, manage tax obligations, and support reporting and compliance across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

You will collaborate with accounting leadership to ensure accurate statements and strong controls, handling AP/AR, tax compliance, and audit responses while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• Experience in financial accounting, reporting and tax compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with tax compliance activities and liaise with tax authorities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Process invoices, expenses and reimbursements per policy.
• Support audit preparation and respond to auditor queries.
• Assist with system controls and ad hoc financial analysis.

About the role
We are seeking a Finance, Accounting, Tax Staff member to join our finance team at OMG Brands in Central Jakarta. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. You will work closely with our accounting and finance leadership to maintain robust financial records, manage tax obligations and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation. This role is essential to our commitment to financial excellence and regulatory compliance.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries

Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable management

Supporting tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax documentation and liaison with tax authorities

Reconciling balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies

Processing invoices, expenses and reimbursements in accordance with company policies

Assisting with audit preparation and responding to auditor queries

Supporting the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and controls

Performing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

A professional qualification or relevant tertiary education in accounting, finance or a related discipline

Experience in financial accounting, reporting and tax compliance within a similar role

Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations is highly desirable

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

The ability to work accurately and efficiently, particularly when managing multiple deadlines

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards

Familiarity with financial controls and internal audit procedures is advantageous
