PT FLUID SCIENCE DYNAMICS INDONESIA is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance, Accounting & Tax to oversee daily accounting activities, tax compliance, and financial reporting. You will manage cash flow, support budgeting, and lead a proficient finance team in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance, 7+ years in finance/tax, and strong Indonesian tax knowledge with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation.
• Experience in supervision or assistant manager role and team development.
• Solid knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and cash flow management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and audits.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities: GL, AP, AR, billing, journal entries.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital.
• Ensure accurate tax calculations, reporting, and Indonesian compliance.
• Coordinate monthly and year-end closing and reconciliations.
• Monitor receivables and payables to support cash flow.
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, tax consultants, and external parties.
• Review data for discrepancies and improve accounting processes and controls.
• Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance, Accounting & Tax to support our company's financial operations, accounting activities, tax compliance, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining tax compliance with Indonesian regulations, managing cash flow, and supporting management in financial planning and decision‑making. This role also requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and taxation.

Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role, with the ability to lead and develop a team.

Solid knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including corporate tax and applicable tax reporting requirements.

Proven experience in financial reporting, account reconciliation, month‑end closing, and cash flow management.

Good understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and audit processes.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.

Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and journal entries.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Monitor company cash flow, working capital, and financial transactions to ensure effective cash management.

Ensure timely and accurate tax calculations, reporting, payments, and compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.

Coordinate monthly closing, year‑end closing, and financial reconciliation processes.

Monitor outstanding receivables and payables to support effective cash flow management.

Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, tax consultants, and external parties on financial and tax matters.

Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.

Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

Support budgeting, financial analysis, and other management reporting requirements.
