Mahatma Gandhi School is seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Staff to support daily finance operations, tax administration, reporting, and maintaining compliant financial records.
The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Indonesian tax knowledge, and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and Coretax DJP. Preference for candidates with experience in educational institutions.
We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Staff who is detail-oriented, accurate, and has strong knowledge of accounting and Indonesian tax compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily finance and accounting operations, tax administration, reporting, and ensuring that all financial and tax records are properly maintained and compliant with applicable regulations.
Handle daily finance and accounting transactions and administrative activities.
Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documents.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor cash flow.
Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
Record and monitor income, expenses, payments, and other financial transactions.
Prepare and review tax calculations and tax-related documents.
Handle monthly and annual tax compliance, including preparation and filing of relevant tax returns.
Handle PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 26, and VAT (PPN) administration as applicable.
Prepare tax invoices, withholding tax slips/e-Bupot, and other required tax documentation.
Reconcile accounting records with tax reporting and ensure data accuracy.
Monitor tax payment deadlines and ensure timely tax compliance.
Assist with tax audits, tax clarification, and requests from tax authorities when required.
Assist with payroll-related accounting and tax matters, including PPh 21.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial and tax records.
Support the Finance & Accounting Manager in financial reporting, budgeting, and other finance-related activities.
Perform other duties related to Finance, Accounting, and Tax as assigned.
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting and Tax.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation and tax compliance is required.
Good understanding of PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 26, PPN, e-Faktur, e-Bupot, and DJP Online/Coretax.
Experienced in preparing and submitting monthly and annual tax reports.
Able to perform tax reconciliation between accounting records and tax reports.
Familiar with tax payment, withholding, reporting, and documentation procedures.
Experience handling PPh 21 payroll taxation is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software.
Experience with Coretax DJP is an advantage.
