Job summary

PT Sunward Indonesia Equipment is seeking a Finance & Accounting Officer to support accurate financial operations, reporting, compliance, and cash management. On-site in Cakung, East Jakarta, you will collaborate with local departments and the Chinese headquarters on financial reporting and accounting matters.

Responsibilities include daily accounting, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end closing, cash flow forecasting, tax calculations, inventory/fixed asset reconciliation, and assisting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in English required; Mandarin preferred.
• Experience with Indonesian accounting standards and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.
• Review payment requests, employee reimbursements, and supplier invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile balances, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash movements.
• Complete month-end and year-end closing and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and support budget monitoring and expense analysis.
• Prepare tax calculations and supporting schedules, and coordinate tax filing with external tax consultants.
• Reconcile inventory and fixed asset records and coordinate physical counts with relevant departments.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain organised accounting and tax documentation.
• Coordinate with local departments and the Chinese headquarters on financial reporting and accounting matters.

Job description

Join the finance team as a Finance & Accounting Officer and support accurate financial operations, reporting, compliance, and cash management. Key responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading, heavy equipment, or multinational company.

Ability to independently handle daily accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.

Good working knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and taxation, including PPN and relevant PPh obligations.

Familiarity with tax invoicing and reporting through Coretax.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems; experience with EXACT is an advantage.

Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

Brevet A and B certification is an advantage.

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, integrity, and a sense of responsibility.

Ability to meet reporting deadlines and handle confidential financial information.

Willingness to work on-site in Cakung, East Jakarta.
