Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional qualification).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles, preferably within manufacturing metals industry or with manufacturing clients portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK), tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing accounting teams and developing junior staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent command of English and Indonesian, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and risk management practices.
• Experience with financial consolidation and inter-company transactions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian financial reporting requirements and international accounting principles where applicable.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and guidance on accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare budget forecasts and provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and business decisions.
• Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing systems.
• Review and process journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper authorisation.
