Job summary

PT ALS Indonesia seeks a highly motivated Finance & Accounting Assistant Manager to support financial reporting and accounting operations across laboratory services sites in Indonesia. The role collaborates with Finance & Accounting, operations, procurement, and management to ensure financial integrity.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with Indonesian tax and accounting requirements, in a fast-paced multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory, healthcare, pharmaceutical, environmental testing, or service industries is preferred.
• Experience managing month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting, AR/AP, and tax compliance.
• Experience with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Experience with multi-branch, multi-site, or group-company operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and balance sheet accounts.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and assist in month-end/year-end closings.
• Prepare revenue and cost analyses, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and aging reports.
• Process accounts payable, supplier invoices, and payments; monitor aging.
• Support budgeting/forecasting processes and cost control initiatives.
• Assist with Indonesian tax reports, VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax; coordinate with advisors.
