Job summary

Evyap is seeking a Finance & Accounting Executive based in Medan to manage financial transactions, GL, and management reports. You will support budgeting, cash management, and internal controls while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of records.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance, CPA/ACCA, fluent English, and strong analytical and leadership skills. Role is on-site in Medan with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in oleochemical or manufacturing.
• CPA/ CA/ ACCA certification required.
• Fluent in English; strong analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions and records.
• Support analysis, budgeting, cash management and internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL accounts monthly.
• Monitor receivables/payables and assist in management reporting.
• Develop dashboards and ad-hoc reports for management.

Who We're Looking For?

• Preferably has 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting with a minimum of 3 years in a officer / supervisor position based in Oleochemical Industry or manufacturing Industry
• Understand for General Accounting, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, AP, AR, dan Treasury
• Possess accounting certification (CPA/ CA/ ACCA)
• Fluent in English,

What You'll Be Doing?

The Finance & Accounting Executive is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions, accounting records, and management reports. The role supports business decision-making through financial analysis, cost control, budgeting activities, cash management, and compliance with company accounting policies and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record daily accounting transactions in the SAP4 Hanna / ERP system & maintain the accuracy of General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure all journal entries are properly supported and approved.
• Monitor accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and provisions and verify invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Monitor vendor payments according to agreed payment terms, also track customer receivables and coordinate collection activities and reconcile vendor and customer statements regularly.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances and prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries.
• Analyse revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities and develop financial dashboards and ad-hoc reports requested by management.
• Provide recommendations to enhance financial efficiency and business performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain complete and organized financial documentation, support internal and external audit activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within Finance & Accounting and identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective action
