Job summary

PetroSea is seeking a Surveyor to conduct ocular inspections, plan and review plant-site designs, and ensure accurate field surveys for monthly progress claims. The role requires operating survey equipment and maintaining data integrity, with a focus on coordinating with engineering teams and upholding SHE standards in the field.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Engineering, at least 3 years of experience in surveying, and willingness to work across projects, including mining sites.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years experience as a Surveyor.
• Able to operate survey equipment.
• Willing to be placed in all project sites.
• Able to operate mining survey equipment.
• May be required to work flexible hours to suit project requirements.
• Fluent in English; spoken and written is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ocular inspections of proposed plant site to plan, review, and analyze the optimum design of proposed construction.
• Use and maintain survey software to ensure efficiency in survey activities.
• Conduct field surveys in good time and determine quantities for monthly progress claims.
• Collect accurate daily survey data and ensure data are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Constructions Team to ensure designs are implemented in the field.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs and practices, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards.
