Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Associate Technician - Field Services to perform field deployments, equipment handling, and site maintenance across multiple locations. The role involves travel, setup, and hands-on operation in data center, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic contexts, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate has a High School degree, CDL Class A, forklift certification, and 1 year of field service experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required.
• CDL Class A required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year of field service technician experience.
• 1 year of Class A combination vehicle driving and cargo carrying.
• Class 7 Forklift certification.
• Good communication and customer centric attitude.
• Ability to make technical decisions with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned field tasks in support of field operations.
• Ensures safety, quality, and customer service standards.
• Operates Class A vehicles and trailers as needed.
• Manages material shipments, transport, and staging.
• Maintains logs and records (electronic and written).
• Performs basic inspections and routine maintenance.
• Loads and unloads cargo and prepares delivery documentation.
• Travel up to 100% to customer sites.
