Job summary

PT Total Fluid Control in Cikarang, West Java, is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team at the facility. The role blends technical insight with field sales to identify opportunities, present fluid control solutions, and support the sales cycle with expert guidance.

You will conduct site visits, deliver product demonstrations, tailor specifications and quotations, and nurture key accounts while travelling to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical sciences, or related field or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record in sales engineering or technical sales in industrial/manufacturing
• Knowledge of fluid control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel to customer sites

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the industrial sector, leveraging technical knowledge to understand customer needs
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients
• Provide technical support and consultation to the sales team during the proposal and negotiation stages
• Conduct site visits and facility assessments to recommend appropriate fluid control solutions
• Develop and maintain detailed product knowledge and stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings
• Prepare technical specifications, quotations, and proposals tailored to customer requirements
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers
• Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to ensure customer solutions are properly designed and implemented
• Provide post-sale technical support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional opportunities
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM systems
