Job summary

Cotecna is seeking a Field Inspector to perform inspection, sampling, and supervision at client sites. You will ensure operations align with company procedures, standards, and client requirements while delivering accurate field observations, documentation, and timely reporting.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine, agriculture, or related fields, at least 2 years in field operations, and willingness to travel to various project locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marine, Agriculture, Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Inspector, Surveyor, or in field operations.
• Experience in Agriculture, Coal, or Mineral inspection preferred.
• Possession of an AISI certificate is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in field operations.
• Willing to travel and work at various project or client locations.
• Good command of Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, sampling supervision, and other field activities in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
• Monitor loading, unloading, stockpile, warehouse, or production activities to ensure operational compliance.
• Prepare accurate field records, inspection reports, and supporting documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of inspection activities.
• Identify and report operational issues, discrepancies, or non-conformities observed during inspections.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and applicable industry standards while performing field assignments.
• Safeguard inspection integrity by maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and impartiality throughout inspection activities.
• Perform other operational duties assigned by the superior.
