Job summary

Compassion International in Indonesia is seeking an experienced finance professional to work with Frontline Church Partners (FCPs). You will provide financial guidance, monitoring, training, and support to strengthen financial practices across Indonesia.

This role focuses on field engagement, coaching, and building local capacity, rather than desk-based accounting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve systems, reporting, and compliance while traveling approximately 50% of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience supporting or working with partner organizations.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly financial reports submitted by FCPs (Frontline Church Partners).
• Monitor reports to identify risks, trends, gaps, or improvements.
• Review consolidated audit findings and support follow-up actions.
• Provide guidance on accounting processes, financial management and compliance.
• Coach finance users and partner staff on processes and tools.
• Travel regularly to partner locations for field support and coaching.
• Collaborate with Finance, Partnership, and program teams.
