Job summary

PT Fortune Yachts Bali in Gianyar, Bali, invites a skilled Fiberglass Supervisor to lead our workshop’s production activities. You will oversee fiberglass fabrication, laminating, and repair, ensuring on-time delivery with quality and safety in mind.

In this hands-on role, you’ll coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks to technicians, and guide finish processes while mentoring the team and collaborating with design and QA to optimize materials and workflows in a yacht-building environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in fiberglass fabrication, laminating, and repair within marine or related composite manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of resin systems, reinforcement materials, mold preparation, lay-up techniques, and finishing processes.
• Proven ability to supervise production teams, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Understanding of workplace safety standards, safe handling of chemicals and materials, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions related to fiberglass components.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple projects and meet production deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a workshop environment.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist with complex or high-priority fiberglass tasks when needed.
• Previous experience in yacht or boatbuilding is highly beneficial; experience in other composite industries is also valued.
• High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate in boatbuilding, composites, or related field preferred.
