Responsibilities

• Build wooden bases, frames, molds, and jigs for composite ship construction.
• Cut, shape, and assemble wood materials using hand and power tools.
• Install interior furniture and fittings (walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets, etc.).
• Repair or adjust wooden or composite components when needed.
• Keep the work area clean and follow all safety rules in the shipyard.
• Work with other teams such as fiberglass and outfitting departments.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational certificate in Carpentry or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in shipbuilding or composite/fiberglass carpentry.
• Can read and follow technical drawings.
• Skilled in using carpentry tools and machines.
