Job summary

Unilever is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to safeguard process safety, quality and regulatory compliance while driving plant reliability and production capacity. You will align cross-functional teams to meet delivery schedules, control costs, and improve profitability.

The role requires extensive experience in manufacturing or oleochemicals, strong SHE knowledge, and leadership skills to coach and develop the production team across shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of process engineering and maintenance management.
• Familiarity with SHE standards and ISO/HACCP-like frameworks.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team-development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and process-safety requirements.
• Lead incident response, investigations, mitigation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate across departments to hit production targets and delivery schedules.
• Control raw materials, conditions, repairs, quality, yield, losses and utilities.
• Establish workforce plans, assignments and performance expectations.
• Develop team capability through training, coaching and mentoring.
• Review performance and implement improvements, recognition, discipline, and career plans.
• Maintain safe, clean workplaces and review safety/environmental assessments.
• Make timely decisions to prevent accidents and downtime.
• Prepare operating budgets and manage conversion costs to improve profitability.
• Deliver zero accidents, 100% compliance, no contamination or complaints, and target production KPIs.
