Job summary

Brenntag in Bekasi, Indonesia seeks a Maintenance Engineer to coordinate general maintenance and ensure uptime of facilities and equipment. You will lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, align with safety standards, and work with operations to improve KPIs.

You will supervise maintenance teams, manage safety documentation, audits, and liaise with procurement and QSHE to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Fluent in English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant background; CMRP certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 3 years in an HSE role, or total experience of 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (OSHA, LOTO) and working permits.
• Proficiency in preventive and predictive maintenance; ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Experience coordinating third-party technicians and managing MRO stock.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance tasks to keep assets operating efficiently.
• Improve uptime through preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Supervise daily maintenance and guide site teams at all sites.
• Develop and enforce maintenance procedures and safe work practices.
• Monitor KPIs like downtime, MTTR and MTBF.
• Audit compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare reports for senior management on maintenance performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, QSHE, Procurement and Logistics.
