Job summary

JAVACO, a leading HPL solutions manufacturer in Indonesia, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team across four on-site plants in the Banten area. You will drive maintenance, utilities, and facility projects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will plan budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, identify efficiency opportunities, and coordinate with cross-functional departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial/supervisory position.
• Strong experience in maintenance, utilities, facility management, and engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience managing engineering teams and external contractors.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, leadership, and project management skills.
• Good understanding of HSE, regulatory compliance, and engineering standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work on-site (all 4 plants in Banten area) and handle operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Engineering team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Oversee maintenance, engineering projects, utilities, and facility operations.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure all equipment, machinery, utilities, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Plan and monitor engineering projects, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and process improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, Procurement, Finance, and other departments on engineering-related matters.
• Manage external contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Prepare engineering reports, budgets, maintenance plans, and performance evaluations for management.
