Job summary

PT. Polareka Fasadindo, a contractor specializing in aluminum and glass façade systems, is seeking an experienced estimator to prepare BOQ, take-offs, and tender submissions for façade projects in Jakarta.

The ideal candidate holds a related degree, 2–5 years of estimation experience, and strong skills in Excel and AutoCAD, with the ability to read architectural drawings and coordinate with design and procurement teams to deliver accurate, competitive bids on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in façade, curtain wall, aluminium, glazing, or building envelope projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with AutoCAD and/or relevant estimation software.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and façade drawings.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity take-offs for unitized façade systems, including panels, aluminium, glass, brackets, sealants, and accessories.
• Calculate material, labor, fabrication, transportation, and installation costs.
• Review architectural, structural, and façade drawings to determine project quantities and requirements.
• Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure accurate pricing.
• Identify cost risks, exclusions, and potential variations during the tender process.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and submitted within project deadlines.
