Job summary

Lautanairindonesia is looking for a qualified professional for welding and installation in Tangerang, Indonesia. This role requires coordinating welding repairs, construction maintenance, and the fabrication of tools.

The ideal candidate must have a vocational or diploma education in Mechanical Engineering and 2–3 years of experience in fabrication and mechanical installation. Shift work is necessary. Strong technical skills and understanding of piping systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fabrication and mechanical/piping installation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts and piping construction.
• Willing to work in a shift system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and realize welding and installation repairs.
• Construction maintenance related to metal welding.
• Manufacturing workpieces for project welding.
• Complete pipe, metal, and non‑metal installation work.
• Make reports and analyses of fabrication results weekly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for coordinating and realizing welding and installation repairs
2. Responsible for construction maintenance (pipe racking) related to metal welding
3. Responsible for manufacturing workpieces/fabrication of tools that are project welding
4. Responsible for the completion of pipe, metal, and non‑metal installation work
5. Responsible for the division of shifts
6. Make reports and analyses of fabrication and installation results on a weekly basis

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum education: Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in fabrication and mechanical/piping installation
3. Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts, piping construction, metal workpieces, and piping systems
4. Able to perform welding (positions 1G to 4G)
5. Proficient in reading technical drawings, performing material marking, and cutting materials according to specifications
6. Willing to work in a shift system
7. Willing to be placed in Tangerang
