Job summary

PT Surya Tanjung Jaya seeks an experienced Manager Outlet F&B Specialist to lead our high-volume F&B operations in Batam, Riau Islands. This contract role focuses on driving profitability, ensuring safety standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences across outlets.

You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, develop teams of chefs, wait staff and kitchen personnel, and implement innovative menus and campaigns to boost revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience managing western cuisine outlets, restaurants, bars, or similar high-volume F&B operations.
• Proven track record of managing P&L statements, budgets and financial performance in hospitality.
• Strong leadership to motivate, train and develop diverse teams.
• Deep knowledge of food safety, health regulations and hospitality best practices.
• Excellent customer service and complaint resolution abilities.
• Fluent English and Indonesian; ability to collaborate with staff at all levels.
• Proficiency with POS systems, inventory software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of cost controls, menu engineering and pricing strategies.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of F&B outlets ensuring compliance with standards and safety protocols.
• Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of outlets to improve profitability.
• Lead, supervise, and develop F&B staff including chefs, waiters, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
• Plan and implement menu offerings and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and service to meet standards; take corrective actions as needed.
• Build strong customer relationships, address complaints promptly and professionally.
• Analyze sales, customer trends and competition; report insights to senior management.
• Ensure licensing, food safety compliance and hospitality standards.
• Coordinate with marketing/events to promote outlets and create special dining experiences.
