Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced Electrical/I&C engineer to support control system design for power transmission and substation projects. The role includes reviewing design basis, SCADA interfaces, and metering, as well as ensuring documentation aligns with interface requirements and protection schemes.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical-related engineering and at least 10 years in I&C/control systems, with HV/EHV substation experience and familiarity with utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant I&C/control system experience for power transmission, substation, utility, or industrial projects.
• Experience with HV/EHV substation control, SCADA, protection interface, and metering systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with utility communication/control interface requirements.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation for drawing and document review.

Responsibilities

• Review I&C design basis, control architecture, SCADA interface, metering, signal lists, panel layouts, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface documents.
• Review interfaces with electrical protection, telecom, utility/grid control requirements, substation automation, and remote monitoring systems.
• Identify control system design gaps, interface mismatches, integration risks, and documentation inconsistencies.
• Support design review workshops, technical clarifications, and comment resolution.
