Worley in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to review ground investigations and develop ground models for design parameters and practical recommendations. You will lead slope-stability, settlement, bearing-capacity, foundation and ground-improvement assessments, coordinating with civil, bridge, drainage, structural and construction teams.

The role requires 10+ years of geotechnical design experience and strong professional English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Geological or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Typically 10+ years of geotechnical design experience.
• Experience interpreting investigation data and preparing reports for multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilités

• Review ground-investigation, laboratory, geological, terrain and previous-study information.
• Develop ground models, design parameters, assumptions and practical recommendations.
• Complete slope-stability, settlement, bearing-capacity, foundation, retaining-system and ground-improvement assessments.
• Consider landslide, rockfall, erosion, debris-flow, seismic and groundwater-related risks.
• Develop investigation scopes, coordinate field supervision and complete technical reviews for assigned work packages.
• Prepare clear reports, calculations, specifications, drawing mark-ups, monitoring requirements and risk inputs.
• Coordinate geotechnical inputs with civil, bridge, drainage, structural and construction teams.
• Lead assigned technical reviews and participate in constructability discussions, site visits and checking activities.

What you will have:

• Practical experience in slope, earthworks and foundation analysis and in interpreting investigation data.
• Experience preparing technical reports, calculations and recommendations for multidisciplinary teams.
• Good professional English communication and collaborative working skills.
