Job summary

Worley in Jakarta is seeking a Senior Civil Earthworks Designer to develop and maintain Civil 3D models for earthworks, roads and corridors. You will prepare drawings, meet project standards and collaborate across disciplines to deliver construction-ready outputs.

The role requires 8+ years of civil design/drafting experience, strong Civil 3D skills, and excellent English communication. This full-time position is based in Jakarta City, IDN, with the team advancing sustainable infrastructure

Qualifications

• Earthworks and road/corridor modelling experience
• Strong Civil 3D proficiency and construction-ready drawings capability

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Civil 3D terrain, alignment, profile, corridor, grading, surface, earthworks, platform and road models
• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, grading plans and quantity drawings
• Generate cut-and-fill quantities and surface/material outputs
• Coordinate models with bridge, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, conveyor, power and structural disciplines
• Apply CAD, BIM, naming, layer, coordinate, document-control and model-federation standards
• Incorporate comments, support clash resolution and prepare checked drawing packages
• Support road geometry, tie-ins, access, facility pads, laydown and spoil layouts
• Maintain traceability between native models, drawings, registers and issued files

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Civil 3D terrain, alignment, profile, corridor, grading, surface, earthworks, platform and road models.
• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, grading plans, site-clearance drawings, typical details and quantity drawings.
• Generate cut-and-fill quantities, surface comparisons and material-volume outputs.
• Coordinate models and drawings with bridge, geotechnical, drainage, utilities, conveyor, power and structural disciplines.
• Apply project CAD, BIM, naming, layer, coordinate, document-control and model-federation requirements.
• Incorporate comments, support clash resolution and prepare checked drawing packages for staged issue.
• Support road geometry, tie-ins, access, facility pads, laydown, borrow and spoil layouts.
• Maintain consistency and traceability between native models, drawings, registers and issued files.

What you will have

• A diploma, associate degree or bachelor-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Civil Design, Drafting or a related discipline.
• Typically 8 or more years of relevant civil design and drafting experience, including earthworks and road or corridor modelling.
• Strong Autodesk Civil 3D capability, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading and quantity workflows.
• Experience producing coordinated, construction-ready civil drawings and native model deliverables.
• Good professional English communication, checking discipline and document-control awareness.
