Job summary

PT Evonik Indonesia seeks an experienced engineer to lead process optimization in chemical plant operations. The role focuses on improving production efficiency, ensuring quality, and supporting project start-ups with detailed data analysis and documentation.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain compliance with IP protection, and contribute to safe plant operations. A strong background in chemical/process engineering and 5+ years of plant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or higher.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in chemical plants.
• Strong background in process and mechanical engineering.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize production processes with the production team.
• Support expatriate process in data monitoring and process optimization.
• Conduct experiments and collect plant and lab data for analysis.
• Review and update plant documentation drawings.
• Coordinate process parameters and SOPs to ensure product quality and capacity.
• Assist in equipment and instrument selection with other disciplines.
• Support equipment acceptance tests during construction and installation.
• Prepare project reviews and quality assurance documents.
• Assist startup of plant/project.
• Adhere to IP protection and code of conduct.
• Support process experts and maintenance for root-cause analysis.
