Job Responsibilities
Prepare and review Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and actual site conditions.
Perform quantity take-off for civil, architectural, and interior works.
Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, and quotations.
Analyze material, labor, subcontractor, and supplier pricing.
Prepare, calculate, and evaluate Additional Works / Variation Orders (VO).
Conduct site measurements and verify actual work quantities and project progress.
Review and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures are in line with the approved budget.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Purchasing, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding quantities, pricing, and project costs.
Prepare progress claims and supporting documents.
Prepare and review Final Account (FA) and project cost reconciliation.
Maintain proper documentation of project quantities, costs, and commercial records.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil, interior, or fit-out projects.
Experience in F&B, restaurant, retail, and commercial interior fit-out projects is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and understand architectural, civil, and interior drawings.
Good knowledge of construction materials, work methods, quantity calculations, and current market pricing.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work accurately under tight project schedules.
Able to coordinate effectively with internal project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Willing to conduct site surveys and site visits when required.
