Job summary

OSI Electronics in Batam, Indonesia, seeks an ESD Specialist to support production by maintaining ESD monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with ESD standards. The role includes training personnel and coordinating with vendors for calibration and maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in electronics or electrical engineering with 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing and familiarity with ESD control programs. On-site position in Batam.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
• 2–5 years in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, EMS, or semiconductor industries.
• Experience with ESD S20.20 Control Program preferred.
• Experience with ESD audits and ANSI/ESD standards desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate ESD monitoring devices and testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ESD-related issues affecting production operations.
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and calibration when required.
• Provide refresher training to manufacturing personnel regarding ESD handling requirements.
• Conduct ESD awareness training for new employees, contractors, and visitors
• Promote ESD best practices and continuous awareness throughout the facility.
• Maintain ESD records, audit reports, corrective actions, and compliance documentation.
• Track ESD audit findings and ensure effective closure of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare ESD performance reports and metrics for management review
