Job summary

KPMG Siddharta Advisory is seeking an ESG professional in Jakarta to help clients navigate sustainability and regulatory challenges, build robust ESG strategies, and deliver reporting aligned with ISSB/GRI/SASB/TCFD. The role emphasizes team leadership, client management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Applicants should have 1–2 years in ESG or related fields, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Power BI/Tableau with English and Indonesian communication proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Economics, Engineering, International Relations, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in ESG, sustainability, consulting, corporate responsibility, or related fields would be preferred (internship experience may be considered).
• Working knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., ISSB, GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian (both written and verbal).
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, R) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of and manage a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies to better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG.
• Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.
• Manage the review and development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, ESG risk and opportunity identification, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards (e.g., ISSB, GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.
• Involved within engagement teams performing fieldwork, including project management, client management, review of analysis, work papers, reports and presentations.
• Overall management of projects, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and manage budgets.
