Job summary

Oxford Policy Management Limited is seeking an Environmental Safeguard Specialist for our Jakarta office on a fixed-term basis of 6 months. The role focuses on delivering ESMS-related tasks within the PLN framework and ETAP project activities in Indonesia.

The successful candidate will support KPI monitoring, ESMS training development, due diligence, and coordination with PLN and ETAP teams to strengthen environmental safeguards across energy infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in environmental engineering, assessment and management.
• Strong English and Indonesian communications.

Responsibilities

• Support ESMS implementation and refinement for PLN.
• Manage environmental data collection and reporting.
• Develop and pilot ESMS tools and training materials.
• Coordinate with PLN and ETAP teams for compliance.
