PT Zhongtsing New Energy Morowali seeks a qualified environmental professional to monitor water quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste. You will prepare essential environmental documents and reports, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders to uphold environmental standards.
The role requires a degree in Environmental Engineering or related field and relevant certifications, with hands-on experience in data analysis and ISO 14001 integration.
This role involves environmental monitoring, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance activities. You will be responsible for recording and reporting water quality monitoring data, identifying potential environmental contamination risks, managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and preparing comprehensive environmental documentation and reports.
Key responsibilities
Record and report weekly water quality monitoring
Identify potential environmental pollution (air, soil, water) and implement control measures
Manage hazardous (LB3) and non-hazardous waste, and report through SPEED, SIMPEL, and related accounts
Report monthly waste generation data
Support monthly water monitoring by IMIP (external and internal)
Record domestic waste (garbage)
Prepare detailed RKL RPL reports, UKL-UPL, AMDAL, and supporting documents
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, provincial agencies, KLHK, and relevant government bodies
About you
Minimum S1 education, preferably in Environmental Engineering or related field
PPPU and PPPA certifications
Proficiency in preparing environmental documents (AMDAL, UKL-UPL, RKL-RPL, DELH, DPLH, ESG, SLO) and technical approval studies (Pertek Air Limbah, Emisi, LB3, B3)
Mastery of digital reporting systems (Simpel, Festronik, Amdalnet, etc.)
Deep understanding of ISO 14001 integration with ISO 4500/SMK3
Ability to analyse laboratory data, interpret environmental quality standards, and assess water, air, and emission quality
Understanding of environmental protection regulations and legislation (data analysis, reporting, communication, and coordination with relevant government agencies)
