Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements for industrial estate operations
• Manage and monitor the estate's environmental management system and environmental performance
• Monitor environmental compliance of tenants and conduct inspections or audits when required
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, including wastewater, water quality, air emissions, noise, and waste management
• Monitor estate-level environmental infrastructure, including wastewater treatment and waste management systems
• Handle environmental risks, incidents, complaints, and corrective actions
• Prepare environmental reports, compliance documentation, dashboards, and performance indicators
• Coordinate with government authorities, tenants, communities, and other relevant stakeholders
• Support sustainability, ESG, resource efficiency, recycling, and Green Industrial Estate initiatives
• Identify opportunities for continuous environmental improvement and support relevant certifications

Our client, a developing industrial estate, is looking for a candidate with strong experience in environmental permits and wastewater management, preferably within a similar industry. This role will support the project throughout its development stage until the industrial estate is fully operational and stable.

Key responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements for industrial estate operations

Manage and monitor the estate's environmental management system and environmental performance

Monitor environmental compliance of tenants and conduct inspections or audits when required

Coordinate environmental monitoring, including wastewater, water quality, air emissions, noise, and waste management

Monitor estate-level environmental infrastructure, including wastewater treatment and waste management systems

Handle environmental risks, incidents, complaints, and corrective actions

Prepare environmental reports, compliance documentation, dashboards, and performance indicators

Coordinate with government authorities, tenants, communities, and other relevant stakeholders

Requirements

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, monitoring, wastewater, and waste management

Experience conducting environmental inspections, audits, and compliance reporting

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Willing to be based in East Java
