Job summary

PT. HUAYUE NICKEL COBALT is seeking an Environmental Specialist to ensure compliance with Indonesian environmental laws and the company's standards. The role focuses on managing permits, monitoring emissions, and coordinating with government agencies.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in mining or smelter environments, a relevant bachelor's degree, and certification in AK3U. You will contribute to PROPER programs and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years in mining, mineral processing, or smelter industries.
• Valid General K3 Expert (AK3U) certificate.
• PPA, PPU, or PLB3 Supervisor Level Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations and PROPER system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and company standards.
• Manage environmental permits (Wastewater Technical Approval, Air Emission Technical Approval, and Hazardous Waste (B3) Management permits).
• Prepare and submit Environmental Management and Monitoring Reports (Detailed RKL-RPL).
• Perform environmental inspections and data analysis for wastewater, air emissions, B3, and waste management.
• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the PROPER Environmental Performance Program.
