Qualifications

Degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in environmental engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in environmental management or engineering within an industrial setting.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance strategies.
Experience with wastewater treatment, air pollution control technologies, or hazardous waste management.
Proficiency in environmental modeling and impact assessment tools.

Responsibilities

Design and implement systems for pollution control, waste treatment, and resource recovery.
Monitor and analyze environmental performance data, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects and existing operations.
Develop strategies for waste minimization and sustainable chemical process design.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to maintain environmental permits and licenses.
Troubleshoot environmental control systems and recommend improvements.
