Job summary

SEKOLAH BAHASA is seeking an enthusiastic English tutor for children aged 3-6. You will plan and deliver fun, play-based lessons that build basic English skills such as vocabulary, listening, speaking, and pronunciation.

Job description

• Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and age-appropriate English lessons for children aged 3-6 years old.
• Teach English through play-based activities, songs, stories, games, movement, crafts, and interactive learning.
• Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages children to participate and build confidence.
• Adapt teaching methods and activities based on students' age, learning pace, interests, and individual needs.
• Develop students' basic English skills, including vocabulary, listening, speaking, pronunciation, and simple expressions.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain students' attention in a warm and positive manner.
• Monitor students' learning progress and provide feedback to parents and the academic team when required.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom activities based on the SEBA Kiddos curriculum and learning objectives.
• Coordinate with the Head Tutor/Academic Team regarding students' progress, classroom needs, and lesson development.
• Participate in tutor meetings, training, evaluations, and other academic activities organized by Sekolah Bahasa.
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and positive interaction with students, parents, and team members.
• Minimum D3/S1, preferably in English, Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation.
• Passionate about working with young children aged 3-6 years old.
• Patient, energetic, creative, and able to engage children through fun and interactive activities.
• Able to manage a classroom and handle children with different personalities and learning needs.
• Comfortable using songs, storytelling, games, movement, and creative activities as teaching methods.
• Previous experience teaching English to children or working with young learners is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in teaching young learners are welcome to apply.
