Job summary

PepsiCo invites bright undergraduates to join the PEP Pioneers 6-month paid internship program, offering hands-on projects and exposure to maintenance, data, and sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

As an engineering student, you will develop and maintain databases, support preventive maintenance, and contribute to sustainability reporting within a dynamic global team. This on-site program provides real-world experience and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate student in engineering or related fields (satisfy internship eligibility).
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Office is expected.
  • Interest in maintenance, reliability, asset management, and sustainability programs.
  • Ability to manage large datasets with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an engineering database for spare parts inventory and tracking.
  • Establish linkage between spare parts consumption history and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in developing a maintenance criticality database based on safety, quality, operational, and business impact assessments.
  • Support sustainability engagement activities for shopfloor employees.
  • Develop communication materials for sustainability initiatives.
  • Support data collection and reporting for sustainability performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  7. Willing to work on-site fulltime.
  8. Basic understanding of database management and data analysis is an advantage.
  9. Familiarity with maintenance systems, spare parts management, or sustainability concepts is preferred.
  10. Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to work in a manufacturing environment.
