Job summary

PT Alpha Magsaysay is seeking a Fitter Mechanic to join the onboard Technical team. The role involves overhauling, repairing, and maintaining engine room machinery and equipment in a cost-efficient manner while adhering to company safety standards.

Responsibilities include safe maintenance practices, coordinating with stores for spare parts, and documenting work history for Amos input. You will follow USPH protocols and fleet regulations and support emergency response duties as required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 12 months of experience as a Fitter Mechanic or in a similar technical role.
• Strong focus on delivering passenger-focused service and safety.
• Demonstrates adaptability and professional conduct in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently overhauls, repairs, and maintains machinery and equipment as directed by the Senior First Engineer.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and tidiness; ensure tools are used and stored properly.
• Coordinate with the Senior Technical Storekeeper to keep spare parts stocks on board.
• Provide accurate work history and parts-consumed data for input into Amos.
• Adhere to USPH protocols and fleet regulations.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements as directed.
• Perform all General Emergency Organization duties as directed.
