Job summary

The World Bank Group seeks a national Extended Term Consultant (ETC1 - Energy Analyst) based in Jakarta, Indonesia, to support the Indonesia energy program and regional engagements with ASEAN. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum two years of relevant energy sector experience (IFIs preferred).
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with World Bank policies and Indonesian energy sector context a plus.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new lending operations and undertake financial/economic analysis.
• Supervise active operations and prepare project documents and aide-mémoires.
• Coordinate with procurement, safeguards, and financial management teams.
• Support client communications and TTLs in project activities.
• Contribute to business development and drafting of TORs.
• Prepare analytical products and knowledge outputs.
• Organize stakeholder consultations and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Assist in regional knowledge agenda under ASET.
