Siloam International Hospitals requires an ambulance support operative to ensure emergency transport readiness. You will maintain ambulances and equipment, conduct daily checks, and support patient transfers between rooms and vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Related field knowledge is a plus.
• Basic understanding of medical procedures and patient care during transport.
• Strong verbal communication with patients, medical staff and emergency personnel.
• Ability to stay calm and act effectively in emergencies.
• Attention to detail in documenting and ensuring vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of emergency services including transportation readiness of ambulances and equipment.
• Check ambulance condition (fuel, tires, lights, siren) per schedule and take action if damaged.
• Carry out ambulance and equipment cleaning and maintenance per schedule to keep readiness.
• Ensure routine maintenance (service) within determined timeframes.
• Daily inventory checks of medical equipment; create daily reports.
• Maintain availability of ambulance drivers by ensuring reliable communication with the hospital.
• Assist in moving patients between treatment rooms and ambulances.
• Clean and prepare ambulance after each patient transport.
• Collect data and report on operational activities for accountability.
• Implement quality and safety procedures and participate in related training.
