Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals requires an ambulance support operative to ensure emergency transport readiness. You will maintain ambulances and equipment, conduct daily checks, and support patient transfers between rooms and vehicles.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of emergency services including transportation readiness of ambulances and equipment.
• Check ambulance condition (fuel, tires, lights, siren) per schedule and take action if damaged.
• Carry out ambulance and equipment cleaning and maintenance per schedule to keep readiness.
• Ensure routine maintenance (service) within determined timeframes.
• Daily inventory checks of medical equipment; create daily reports.
• Maintain availability of ambulance drivers by ensuring reliable communication with the hospital.
• Assist in moving patients between treatment rooms and ambulances.
• Clean and prepare ambulance after each patient transport.
• Collect data and report on operational activities for accountability.
• Implement quality and safety procedures and participate in related training.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of emergency services in terms of transportation of emergency services, including maintaining the equipment and readiness of ambulances, to ensure that ambulance services are ready and suitable for use when needed
• Check the condition and equipment of the ambulance (fuel, tires, lights, siren) according to the schedule and procedures that has been determined and take further action if there is damage to the vehicle/equipment to ensure that the equipment and ambulance are always ready to use.
• Carry out checking and cleaning activities for ambulances along with existing equipment/equipment in accordance with predetermined schedules and procedures to ensure that ambulance cars and equipment are always in a condition suitable for use.
• Ensure that the car always receives routine maintenance (routine service) according to the time limit or schedule that has been determined to ensure that the ambulance receives good and appropriate maintenance
• Carry out daily checks on the inventory of medical equipment and medical equipment in the ambulance using the equipment check list to create daily reports as an inventory monitoring tool
• Maintaining the availability of ambulance drivers by ensuring that personal communication equipment can always be contacted by the Hospital at any time if there is a task for emergency needs of the Hospital
• Assist in moving patients from the treatment room to the ambulance and vice versa
• Clean and prepare the ambulance after each patient use
• Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
