Job description

This role involves the maintenance, repair, installation, and calibration of medical and laboratory equipment in a healthcare facility. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting staff through training and guidance on proper equipment use and care.

Key responsibilities

• Check new medical equipment and accessories
• Plan periodic maintenance, renovation, and repair of medical equipment, including documentation and reporting
• Prepare monthly reports on all medical equipment in the clinic and laboratory
• Update calibration tags on all clinic and laboratory equipment
• Install, maintain, repair, and calibrate medical and laboratory equipment
• Monitor and report any damage to medical equipment
• Perform electromechanical troubleshooting on medical and laboratory equipment
• Provide instructions and training to nurses and other staff on the proper operation of medical equipment
• Educate equipment users on proper maintenance and care of electromedical equipment

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electromedical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance, preferably in a clinic, hospital, laboratory, or healthcare facility
• Good understanding of medical and laboratory equipment, including installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical troubleshooting and equipment safety
• Familiar with medical equipment calibration and preventive maintenance procedures
• Able to prepare equipment maintenance, calibration, and damage reports properly
• Good communication skills and able to provide guidance or training to equipment users
• Able to work independently and coordinate well with other related teams
• Advanced English proficiency
