Job summary

APRIL is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Pangkalan Kerinci, Riau site. You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems across boiler, evaporator, recausticizing, and lime kiln areas to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in electrical maintenance within a process industry and holds a D3/S1 in Electrical Engineering. Applicants should be able to read schematics, work on LV/MV systems, and be willing to shift

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering (D3/S1) or related field.
3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in process industries such as pulp & paper, power, or chemical plants.
Hands-on experience in Power Boiler, Evaporator, Recausticizing, and Lime Kiln areas preferred.
Strong ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
Proficient in testing insulation resistance, continuity, grounding, and motor testing.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in process areas.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure safe plant operations.
Maintain motors, MCCs, switchgear, transformers, VFDs, soft starters, and protection systems.
Read and interpret single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
Support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
