Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim is seeking a seasoned Lead Electrical Engineer to guide and develop our electrical team across manufacturing facilities. You will plan workloads, conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of excellence and safety.

You will oversee design, installation, maintenance and upgrading of electrical systems, ensure compliance with Indonesian electrical codes, manage maintenance programmes and coordinate with other departments and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with power distribution, control systems, motors and automation.
• Knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes and safety standards.
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian preferred.

Job description

Lead, supervise and develop the electrical engineering team, including planning workloads, conducting performance evaluations and fostering a culture of excellence and safety

Oversee the design, installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment and infrastructure across all manufacturing and operational facilities

Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan

Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant Indonesian electrical codes, safety standards and regulatory requirements

Develop and implement electrical safety protocols, procedures and training programmes for all staff

Monitor electrical system performance, identify issues and implement corrective actions to optimise efficiency and reduce energy consumption

Budget planning and cost management for electrical maintenance, repairs and equipment upgrades

Co-ordinate with other departments and external contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with operational requirements

Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical installations to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Manage emergency repairs and troubleshooting to minimise production disruptions

Report on electrical system performance, maintenance activities and budget utilisation to senior management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Demonstrated expertise in industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, motors and automation equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, Indonesian electrical codes and relevant regulatory compliance requirements
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, equipment lifecycle management and predictive maintenance strategies
• Proficiency in electrical design software, CAD tools and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop engineering staff
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to diagnose complex electrical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Project management experience, particularly in managing electrical infrastructure upgrades or installations
• Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian language is preferred
