PT Preformed Line Products Indonesia seeks an Electrical Product Development Specialist with a strong background in electrical engineering for transmission and distribution applications. The role involves developing and improving electrical products, preparing designs and documentation, and ensuring compliance with IEC/IEEE/SPLN standards.

Candidate should have hands-on experience in product design, testing and validation, and familiarity with 3D CAD tools (Creo/SolidWorks) and simulation

Competenze

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• Mechanical engineering with electrical product exposure or engineering physics also acceptable.
• Understanding of High Voltage Electrical Systems.
• Familiar with IEC, IEEE, SPLN and other standards.

Electrical Product Development Specialist

Bachelor's Degree (S1) or master’s degree (S2) in Electrical Engineering (Preferred), or Mechanical Engineering with Electrical Product Exposureor Engineering Physics, or other related engineering disciplines.

Develop and improve electrical products for transmission and distribution applications.

Prepare engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Conduct engineering analysis, product qualification, testing, and validation activities.

Support product compliance with IEC, IEEE, SPLN, and customer requirements.

Participate in technical discussions with customers and provide engineering-based solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout product development projects.

Understanding of High Voltage Electrical Systems.

Familiar with IEC, IEEE, SPLN, and other applicable international standards.

Experience in Product Design, Development, Testing and Validation (Preferred).

Knowledge of insulation coordination, electrical clearances, and material selection (Advantage).

Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo/SolidWorks preferred).

Experience with ANSYS, COMSOL, MATLAB, or equivalent software. (Preferred)
