Job summary

APRIL is seeking a mechanical technician to support our production lines on site in Indonesia. The role involves maintaining and calibrating machinery, replacing worn parts, and setting up equipment for new production cycles to ensure smooth operations.

You will perform tests, adjust machine settings, and document outputs while collaborating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and align machine parts.
• Replace defective parts of machinery as needed.
• Take apart existing machinery to clear floor space for new machinery.
• Move machinery and equipment.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.
• Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly.
• Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
• Set up mechanical machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
• Test operation of machines periodically.
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
• Maintain activity logs.
