Job summary

RGE is seeking a production planner to join our team and support the manufacturing process through scheduling, planning, and coordination of resources. The role focuses on translating engineering plans into actionable production activities and ensuring timeliness of material flow.

The ideal candidate will analyze production data, adjust schedules for changes, and prepare work orders to meet production targets. This position offers full-time employment in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess ability to read engineering plans, contracts and production specifications.
• Ability to work with data to support production scheduling and resource estimation.

Responsibilities

• Produce schedules and production plans using engineering plans, contracts, and production specifications to estimate human resources, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor production activity and analyze production data to ensure materials flow aligns with production requirements.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages.
• Prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules.
• Evaluate production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads.
