Job summary

RGE invites an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) supervisor to lead a team of technicians in our palm oil/oleochemical operations in Dumai. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and help upgrade E&I systems.

You will ensure safety compliance, manage spares, collaborate with production and operations, and contribute to continuous improvement through robust reports and design input.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical/instrumentation maintenance in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Supervisory/leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of motor control, PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation technologies.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and drawings.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of E&I technicians.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement E&I maintenance procedures and standards.
• Ensure safety regulations and industry standards compliance (LOTO, etc).
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with production, mechanical and operations teams.
• Participate in design, installation and commissioning of E&I systems and upgrades.
• Generate reports on E&I performance and reliability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in E&I processes and technologies.
