Job summary

DayOne, a global data center leader, is seeking a Chargeman / Electrical Engineer to join our Jakarta team. You will supervise technicians, perform electrical switching, and ensure safety compliance for critical facilities.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in critical facilities, and a valid license. On-call 24/7, you’ll help maintain UPS, switchgear, grounding, and generators across our Indonesia operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman / Licensed Electrical Engineer certification.
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in critical facilities or industrial electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, switchgear, grounding, and generators.
• Ability to supervise technicians and work on call.
• Good safety and LOTO practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical switching, isolation, and testing in accordance with licensing requirements and safety standards.
• Diagnose faults and conduct repair works on LV/MV switchgear, UPS, generators, etc.
• Assist in developing MOPs and SOPs for electrical maintenance.
• Supervise technicians and ensure safe and proper execution of work.
• Review maintenance quality, safety permits, and completeness of documentation.
• Support emergency response during incidents.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify potential risks before failure occurs.
• Ensure statutory compliance, certifications, and maintenance logs are up to date.

• Strong understanding of UPS, switchgear, grounding systems, generators, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Ability to supervise and guide technicians.
• Good understanding of workplace safety and LOTO practices.
• Ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Willing to be on call 24 X 7
